Engineered ICF construction for Dublin residential projects
Building an airtight, modern home or high-performance extension in Dublin requires precision formwork and experienced concrete management. As specialist contractors, Isotherm manages formwork assembly, steel reinforcement fixing, window bucking, alignment bracing, and concrete boom pours.
To explore comprehensive technical specifications and systems, visit our central ICF construction hub, or consult our ICF cost in Ireland guide for detailed budget planning.
Preventing Window Cold Bridging on Deep ICF Walls
Deep ICF walls of 300mm to 400mm cannot use standard concrete window sills without creating severe thermal bridges and water trap risks. In our Inchicore workshop, our sister brand Cills.ie manufactures custom powder-coated aluminium window sills with welded watertight end caps and thermal breaks.

Do you build ICF with your own direct crews in Dublin?+
Yes. Isotherm operates direct, in-house installation crews based at Unit 20, Westlink Industrial Estate, Kylemore Road, Inchicore, Dublin 10. We do not sub-contract formwork erection, steel placement, or concrete pours to third parties.
Which ICF block systems do you install on Dublin sites?+
We are experienced with all common ICF systems used in Ireland, including Castleforms, Amvic Ireland, Nudura, Logix, Quad-Lock, and Fox Blocks. We pour to your structural engineer's drawings and specifications.
How do you handle concrete pumping on tight Dublin urban sites?+
Our Dublin operations team conducts a pre-pour site inspection to determine boom pump access, concrete truck staging, and road opening requirements. Concrete is pumped in controlled 1-metre lifts to eliminate blowout risks.
How are window sills detailed on Dublin ICF builds?+
Because ICF walls are 300mm to 400mm thick, traditional concrete sills create massive thermal cold bridges. We fit custom powder-coated aluminium window sills fabricated in-house by our sister workshop, Cills.ie, located in our Inchicore depot.
How much does ICF construction cost in Dublin?+
Supply, formwork stacking, rebar, pumping, and alignment bracing typically ranges between €180 and €240 per square metre of wall area, depending on wall height, steel density, and architectural complexity.
