External Insulation Blackrock

Blackrock features a varied housing stock. Homeowners with solid-wall properties (solid brick, concrete block, or stone construction) in Blackrock cannot pump their cavity walls and will benefit the most from EWI. Dublin features a large concentration of older solid-wall properties (solid brick or hollow-block construction) that cannot be insulated via cavity wall pumping. Dublin's suburban housing boom in the mid-20th century resulted in thousands of solid concrete block semi-detached houses.
